Step 1: Subscribe to the Hometastic subscription box and join our members-only Facebook
group.
Step 2: Each quarter, I source 4-6 high-quality, limited home décor items. You’ll receive a beautifully
packed box that includes an Australian made sweet treat and suggested styling
advice.
Step 3: Unbox your Hometastic box (don’t forget to take some photos), read the styling tips and start decorating your home.
Step 4: Sit back and enjoy your new home décor items and get ready to be the envy of all your friends and family.
Step 5: Share photos of your refreshed spaces in our Facebook group to inspire others.

What's included
Every quarter, you’ll receive the Hometastic box packed with 4-6 beautifully wrapped home décor items. In the past these have included items like throw rugs, serving ware, decorative items, candles, mugs and signs.
I source all items especially for each box, so you’re unlikely to see similar items at the local shops.

Making every house a home
While I love curating the Hometastic boxes, I’m not a professional stylist. My day job is actually nursing, but when I moved to Australia, I was missing the touches of home.
And so, I created Ruby’s Home Store, stocking all things British.
But occasionally, I’d come across other items that weren’t British, but were still gorgeous.
I’ve lived in many rentals over the years, and became quite good at finding pieces that would make a bland house a home. I realised the magic of finding a few new items to refresh and update a space.
So, I took this experience to create a seasonal subscription box with the beautiful things I found, and so the Hometastic subscription box was born.
Since launching Ruby’s Home Store and the Hometastic Box, we’ve won the following awards and been featured in several publications.

I carefully wrap all items, but sometimes breakages do happen.

A subscription box is a package of goodies sent to you regularly (in our case, quarterly) for a fee. They’re a delightful surprise, containing a range of products tailored to your interests. With each box, you get access to limited edition and themed items you mightn’t have discovered otherwise. Plus, the community of subscribers creates a sense of belonging around shared interests. Subscriptions boxes also save time and hassle and are
great value. The products inside are often worth more than what you pay for the subscription. It's like getting a bargain while indulging in your guilty pleasures.
All subscription boxes ship at the same time – on or around the 5th of March, June, September and December. So it should end up at your door within 7 to 10 days.

Please note that if you joined the 12 month commitment plan (before August 2023) you have committed to pay for that full period of the subscription. You can skip months during a commitment term.
If you are on a new quarterly plan, you can cancel anytime.
If you agreed to a 12 month subscription (before August 2023) you need to stay for the full commitment period.
We do not do refunds on the already sent box.

You certainly can. You can add a gift subscription to your cart. Choose the length of their subscription and be sure to correctly enter your billing address and THEIR shipping address.
Yes. I work hard each season to find products that will fit into your home. Most boxes include a mix of neutral tones and pops of colour that will complement most rooms.
I’m quite confident you will love everything in your box. But if there’s something that’s not quite your style, you can always regift it, or donate it to charity.
I choose the items for each season’s box is carefully in advance. That means that every 3 months, you get to enjoy opening a fresh surprise. You can’t choose what will be in your box, but you can be confident I’ll find some beautiful products for you.
No. Unfortunately my subscription website doesn’t allow you to earn or use Ruby's on subscription boxes. You’ll have one account on the main website and another if you purchase a box subscription.
